Track record · what happened after each filing, from the sources we check

What happened next

What happened after each verified filing, for anyone judging whether the list is worth acting on: the counts of later notices by the same company and of bankruptcy dockets in the filing state's federal courts, each outcome on record with its source link and its confidence.

Counts are read from the outcomes table as this page loads and cached for a minute. A filing with no outcome on record means nothing was found in the sources we check, which is not the same as nothing happened. Announced transactions are not tracked yet: no free, citable source is joined.

The six-month linestated only from 20 judged filings

The six-month line is not yet stated: 2 of the 20 filings needed are old enough to judge. A filing counts once its notice date is 6 months old (on or before 2026-04-23) and it has been checked both ways; nothing is stated from fewer than 20.

Counted as an outcome: a bankruptcy docket or a follow-on notice (and an announced transaction once a source is joined) dated on or after the notice and within 6 months of it. An effective date passing is not counted; it is the filing's own date.

Every row carries a confidence from 0 to 100 and, in its detail, the name exactly as the source spells it, so a reader can judge the match. Nothing is inferred beyond name, state and date arithmetic: no press, no guesses about why.

Deliberately not matchedmissed on purpose rather than guessed
  • Bankruptcy dockets in courts outside the filing's state. Large companies often file in Delaware, New Jersey or another venue; a Texas filer's Delaware case is missed rather than matched on name alone.
  • Adversary proceedings and contested matters ("Trustee v. Acme"): the company may be a creditor or a defendant, not the debtor.
  • Dockets filed more than 365 days before the notice.
  • Anything a WARN row does not carry: Illinois publishes no effective date, so an Illinois row never has one pass.
  • Announced transactions (a sale, a carve-out, a financing), until a free, citable source is joined. No row is written from memory or from the press.
