About and support

One person, one job, done every night.

Who runs FirstVector Signals, how it is built and how to reach a person, for anyone deciding whether to rely on a founder-run service.

FirstVector Signals is built and run by its founder, a solo operator in Minnesota. There is no sales team and no support desk; the person who runs it reads your email.

What that means for you:

  • The pipeline is automated end to end. The nightly pull, the site and the digest run on Google Cloud; billing runs on Stripe. No step waits for a person, and a failed pull is recorded and reported rather than noticed later.
  • The founder does the judgement work: fixing a state reader when a site changes, correcting an exclusion rule, adding a firm's seats, answering your questions.
  • Nothing is made up. Every row keeps the state's raw record, the score rule is published in full, and when the overnight update has not completed, the digest says so in its subject line.
  • If the service ever stops, you get 30 days' notice and a refund of any unused period you paid for (terms, section 12).
  • Your data is yours to take. Export your 45-day filings window and your watchlist as CSV files from your terminal at any time; the JSON feed carries the same rows. Fields are added, never renamed or removed without 30 days' written notice (the deprecation policy).

How it is built

Texas is read from the Texas Workforce Commission's own yearly listing, Ohio from the CSV that ODJFS publishes, Florida from FloridaCommerce's Rapid Response listing, and Wisconsin, Illinois and New York with the open-source warn-scraper project maintained by Big Local News. Filings are stored in Google BigQuery; the site and the email run on Google Cloud Run in the United States, and email goes out from Google Workspace. The test suite runs before every deployment.

What we are not. Not a data broker, not a research firm, not an adviser. We republish public records and rank them.

Who you contract with: FirstVector Signals, a sole proprietorship in Minnesota, USA.

Support

Email msunkrish@firstvectorsignals.com, or reply to any email we send; both reach the same inbox. A person reads every message and replies, usually within one business day.

What to send for a fast answer

  • A wrong or missing filing: the company name, state and notice date. We check it against the state file and reply with what we found.
  • An access problem: the email address you used at checkout or for the trial.
  • A new seat for a colleague (firm license): their name and email address.

No phone, no chat. Nothing is answered by a machine except a one-word SEND from someone asking for a sample, and the trial form on this site, which emails the terminal link itself.
